Fleming and Regimbald re-sign with Big Blue

WINNIPEG, MB â The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today signed two of their key free agents by inking defensive lineman Joe Fleming and fullback Scott Regimbald.

Joe Fleming (6-3, 290, New Hampshire '94, DOB: Dec. 5, 1971 in Wellseley, MA) is in his 9th CFL season and will begin his 4th season with the Blue Bombers, having played for the club in 1998 and 1999.

"Joe Fleming is an impact defensive player that gives us one of the best inside defensive linemen tandems in the league combined with Doug Brown. His leadership and fierce competitive nature will enhance our chances towards our goal of winning the grey cup" said Winnipeg's general manager and vice-president of football operations Brendan Taman.

Scott Regimbald (6-3, 246, Houston '99, DOB: Nov. 23, 1975 in Montréal, PQ) is a Canadian fullback with great hands and good speed. He is in his 6th CFL campaign.

"Scott Regimbald brings us a high quality non import starter back to our club," said Brendan Taman. "His skills as a fullback are highly regarded, and we feel he is an integral part of our offence."
