NEW YORK - The Arena Football League's historic 20th Season commences this weekend with nine games, including a Friday night showdown in Texas between Las Vegas and Austin, and rematches of the 2005 American and National Conference Championship Games.
NBC will broadcast three games on Sunday: Tampa Bay at Philadelphia, Arizona at Los Angeles and Chicago at Colorado.
Two expansion teams, the Kansas City Brigade and Utah Blaze, will make their AFL debuts with road games this week.
Fox Sports Net will broadcast the season opener Friday night as well as the Utah at San Jose game Saturday night.
CSS (Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast) will broadcast the Orlando at Georgia game on Saturday night.
