
Araujo to Jacksonville; Logan to Disabled List

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Mobile BayBears at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 7:05 p.m.
Right-handed relief pitcher Victor Araujo has been transferred from Batavia to Jacksonville. Araujo has pitched in four games for the Suns in 2016, going 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA and one save.
In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Blake Logan has been placed on the disabled list with a right hamstring strain. Logan in 2016 is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA in his three appearances and one start for the Suns.
The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.
The Suns continue their series with Mobile at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, when Southern League Pitcher of the Week and Suns right-hander Austin Brice (0-0) is scheduled to face BayBears right-hander Yoan Lopez (1-0). The first Community First Credit Union Two-For-Tuesday means 2-for-1 tickets at the box office for Community First Credit Union members using their CFCU Visa or debit card. Gates open at 6 p.m.
