KEIZER, Ore. - Cal Raleigh went 3-for-5 with a double and two home runs as the Everett AquaSox evened their series against Salem-Keizer with a 12-5 win before a crowd of 2,752 at Volcanoes Stadium.
Raleigh, the Seattle Mariners third round pick out of Florida State University, hit the first two home runs of his professional career - and one from each side of the plate. He led off the fifth inning with a long home run over the wall in right batting left-handed. In the eighth, he blasted a solo homer to leftfield while batting right-handed.
AquaSox starting pitcher Carlos Hernandez (3-3) picked up the win. He went five innings and allowed five runs on six hits, walked two and struck out two.
Seven AquaSox had at least two hits including Charlie McConnell who batted 3-for-4 with two RBI. Geoandry Montilla was 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
