Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Monday that about 2,000 additional tickets have been added for the decisive match of the Champions League final against Mexican team Club América, which will be played this Wednesday at 8pm, at Olympic Stadium.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday at noon via ticketmaster.ca (1-855-790-1245) and the Impact sales office (514-328-3668), at a cost ranging between $40 and $125, depending on the different location inside the stadium. About half of these tickets will be general admission standing room.
The Impact announced on April 21 that 59,020 tickets for the match had originally been sold. The new capacity of the stadium is now 61,004.
"We are very pleased to announce the availability of these additional tickets," said Executive Vice-President of the Montreal Impact Richard Legendre. "These tickets could enable us to make history in welcoming the largest crowd in the history of the club, but also by surpassing the attendance from Estadio Azteca, last Wednesday."
Season ticket holders (members) may purchase a designated number of these additional tickets, available in priority for them.
The Impact reminds supporters to arrive early at Olympic Stadium at 7pm for the team warming up at 7:15pm and to be a part of a huge blue-white-black mosaic prior to kick off. The organization also invites supporters to arrive early in order to avoid traffic around Olympic Park and the ticket queues to buy or pick up tickets, as well as at the entrance, due to security procedures. It is highly recommended that you use the metro (access via the Pie-IX station).
