Annual Stitch N' Pitch to Support Needle Arts April 21

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (April 13, 2012) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are hosting their annual Stitch N' Pitch game on Saturday, April 21 at 7:05 p.m. against the Lexington Legends. For each fan that mentions Stitch N' Pitch at the box office when purchasing their ticket to the game, the Intimidators will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Needle Arts Mentoring Program to help promote needle arts as a healthy, fun activity for today's youth.

Stich N' Pitchers are welcome to bring their knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross-stitch or needlepoint to the game and will be able to sit in a special section at the ballpark. Come watch the game and work on your needlepoint at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The game will be followed by the first fireworks show of the season, presented by Freightliner Rec Club.
