
Angels recall O'Day

SALT LAKE CITY (June 9, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has recalled pitcher Darren O'Day from triple-A Salt Lake.
O'Day, 25, appeared in 10 games for the Bees in 2008, owning a 1-1 record with a 3.63 ERA and four saves. He has appeared in 16 games for the Angels this season, owning a 0-1 record with a 3.43 ERA.
The Jacksonville, Fla. native split the 2007 season between single-A Rancho Cucamonga (4.0, 0.75) and double-A Arkansas (3-4, 3.99), finishing with 21 saves on the season. O'Day signed as a free agent with the Angels in 2006.
