
Sidewinders Return Home to Host Sacramento and Colorado Springs

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sidewinders will host the division rival Sacramento RiverCats and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox in an 8-game homestand beginning Monday, June 9th at Tucson Electric Park. The team will take on the Triple-A affiliates of the Oakland Athletics and the Colorado Rockies during a homestand that features Military Night, LEGOLAND® Trip Giveaways and Thirsty Thursday.
The homestand will kick off with the first of two Meatball Mondays on June 9th, with all you can eat spaghetti and meatballs for $7 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-12. Military Appreciation Night and Fireworks Friday will highlight the homestand on June 13th with postgame fireworks and a pre-game flyover by two A-10 Warthogs from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. On Saturday, June 14th fans can register to win one of 44 Family Four Packs to LEGOLAND® California. The homestand also features Thirsty Thursday on May 29th.
Tucson went 4-4 on their most recent road trip, including a series win in Fresno 3-1. Tucson hitters Jamie D'Antona and Emilio Bonifacio have been swinging hot sticks and now rank first and second in the Pacific Coast League with 84 and 83 hits respectively.
