
Anderson Assigned To Gwinnett From AHL Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Matt Anderson has been reassigned to Gwinnett from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Anderson was returned from loan to Chicago on March 1 and played for the Wolves that night, notching a goal in the 4-6 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals. Anderson also saw time in the Wolves' 4-1 win over the Providence Bruins on March 2.
Anderson started his season with the Wolves before being loaned to Gwinnett from Chicago on December 13. Anderson played in 10 games for the Wolves before being sent to Gwinnett, notching an assist and compiling a +1 plus/minus rating.
In 29 games with the Gladiators this season, Anderson has posted 17 points on 9 goals and 8 assists.
Anderson should be available for the Gladiators as they take on the South Carolina Stingrays Friday night at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
The Gladiators continue their fifth anniversary season on Friday, March 14th as they play host to the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:35 p.m. at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. Catch all the play-by-play action in Friday's game on WDUN, News Talk 550.
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that has 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals. The ECHL will play 900 games beginning Oct. 18 and concluding Apr. 5.
