Anaheim Reassigns Max Friberg to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have announced that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Max Friberg to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Friberg, 22, was originally recalled on December 28, and made his NHL debut that night against the Vancouver Canucks. Although Friberg went scoreless in the contest, he skated a total 8:47 of ice time on 12 shifts. Prior to being recalled, the Skovde, Sweden native racked up seven points in his previous seven outings with Norfolk, and put up 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 14 games since returning from an injury. During the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs, Friberg registered three goals and two assists in 10 games.

The Admirals are back at Scope this Friday and Saturday when they host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
