Marlies Lose to Flames 3-2 in Overtime

The Toronto Marlies and Adirondack Flames met on New Year's Eve for their last games of 2014 and would extend the action all the way to overtime. Regulation saw scoring from Spencer Abbott and Brad Ross, while Garret Sparks made 33 saves in regulation. Sparks however would go to the dressing room after regulation and not return, putting Christopher Gibson into action. Shortly into overtime it would be Bill Arnold that would convert the game winner.

Toronto now heads home for a back to back against the San Antonio Rampage. The first game is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday January 2nd. The teams then reconvene at Ricoh for a game Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
