Anaheim Ducks Assign Eaves to Gulls

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has assigned right wing Patrick Eaves to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Eaves, 34 (5/1/84), appeared in seven games with the Ducks this season, going scoreless with four penalty minutes (PIM). Acquired from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a conditional selection (first round) in the 2017 NHL Draft on Feb. 24, 2017, Eaves has collected 132-110=242 points with 210 PIM in 633 career NHL games with Anaheim, Dallas, Nashville, Detroit, Carolina and Ottawa. The 5-11, 203-pound forward has earned one assist (0-1=1) in five games with the Gulls this season.
