Amerks Notes: Rochester (17-28-0-4, 38 points), in the middle of an eight-game in 12-night stretch, enters the contest after earning a 3-2 overtime win over the Binghamton Senators yesterday afternoon at The Blue Cross Arena. Rookie defenseman Jason Garrison found the back of the net 2:24 into the extra frame to lift the Amerks to victory. The win was Rochester's first against the B-Sens this season, snapping a brief two-game losing skid, and it also marked the Amerks' first overtime triumph of the season after each of their previous trips to the extra session resulted in a shootout. Goaltender Tyler Plante made 26 saves to earn his first win of the season.

Further, his two shutouts tie him for fifth in the league. Rookie forward Michal Repik enters the game currently on a the heels of a four-game point streak in which he has three goals and two assists.
