Amerks Assign Jonathan Parker to Colorado

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has assigned forward Jonathan Parker to the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.

Parker, 22, has appeared in two games with the Amerks this season. Last year, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound forward recorded five points (3+2) and 11 penalty minutes in 28 games for Rochester. A native of Solana Beach, California, Parker has registered 11 points (6+5) and 17 penalty minutes in 67 career AHL games with the Amerks over parts of three seasons. He also played in 19 ECHL games with the Gwinnett Gladiators in 2011-12, scoring 11 points on four goals and seven assists.

The Amerks' next home game is tonight versus the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
