Minnesota Returns McMillan to Iowa Wild

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Carson McMillan to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
McMillan, 25 (9/10/88), was recalled by Minnesota for the second time this season on Nov. 3 and skated in the Wild's 4-0 victory over New Jersey Sunday night logging 8:06 of ice time. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound native of Brandon, Man., has registered five points (2-35), a plus-2 rating and 11 penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 career NHL contests with Minnesota.
He has tallied six points (2-46) including one game-winning goal and a plus-4 rating in seven games with Iowa this season. He ranks tied for second on the team in scoring and tied for first in plus-minus rating.
The Wild will play two games in Rockford, starting on Friday, Nov. 8 and concluding on Saturday, Nov. 9. Both games are scheduled for a 7 PM faceoff at the BMO Harris Bank Arena. Iowa returns for a six-game homestand, which begins on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7:05 PM against the Chicago Wolves. The Wild will also welcome San Antonio on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:05 PM. Friday night's game is a $2.00 Beer Night, featuring $2.00 ten-ounce drafts, presented by 100.3 The Bus. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used winter coats for the team's Coat drive, presented by G & L Clothing. Fans who make a donation will be rewarded with tickets to an upcoming Iowa Wild home game. The team will conclude a weekend set with Youth Sports Night on Saturday, Nov. 16 with the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 PM. The first 1,500 fans (12 and under) will be given an Iowa Wild Youth Jersey. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44.
