Americans Will Take Donations Tonight at Pep Rally and Games 1 & 2 to Benefit Scottish Rite Kids

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans will honor the 2013 playoff team with a pep rally tonight at Boston's the Gourmet Pizza in McKinney.

The Americans begin their 4th post-season play this Thursday night against the expansion, Denver Cutthroats at 7:05 pm at Allen Event Center. All fans are encouraged to show up tonight at Boston's with creative signs and wearing Americans gear to show support for the team.

The team will also be collecting plush stuffed animal bunnies tonight, as well as this Thursday and Friday at the playoff games, to be donated to children at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital this Sunday for Easter. The slap-shot cage will be set up outside, rain or shine, along with an appearance by Biscuit, so bring the kids and enjoy some great Boston's Pizza as we officially drop the puck on the 2013 post-season.

The Americans officially announced today their 2013 Playoff Roster, which includes the following: Forwards - Brian McMillin, Anthony Maiani, Kale Kerbashian, Jason Deitsch, Jamie Schaafsma, Jim McKenzie, Darryl Bootland, Jarret Lukin, Todd Robinson, Adam Pineault and this year's amateur Justin Kirsch. Chris Doyle is on IR. Defensemen are as follows; Drew Daniels, Tyler Ludwig, Mike Berube, Trevor Hendrikx, Corbin Baldwin, Mike Montgomery and Trevor Ludwig. Garret
