Thunder Announce Playoff Roster

Wichita, KS (March 26th) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League announced today the team's roster for 2012-13 Presidents' Cup Playoffs.
The Thunder have 21 players on the roster, which includes one player being placed on IR for the opening round and an emergency goalie. Once a playoff series ends, the player on IR can come off and join the active roster while being replaced by another player if in fact that team advances to the next round. This is different from last year as the CHL made a change in the off-season. The Thunder can also add two amateurs to the roster during the playoffs at any time.
The Thunder will face the Arizona Sundogs in the opening round of the playoffs. Game 1 is Thursday, March 28th at 6:35 p.m. and Game 2 is Saturday, March 30th at 7:05 p.m. at INTRUST Bank Arena and will follow a 2-2-2-1 format. Games 5 and 6 would also be played at INTRUST Bank Arena, if necessary. The Thunder finished as the #2 seed while the Sundogs come in as the #7 seed.
