
Americans Look to Even It up with the Rush

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans go head to head with the top team in the Central Hockey League, the Rapid City Rush, tonight at 7:05 pm at Allen Event Center.
The Rush came out on top last night, scoring a goal late in the third to secure the win, despite the fact that Johnathan Lessard evened the score at two, just minutes before.
The Rapid City Rush lead the all-time series against Allen with a record of 8-6-2, including last night's 3-2 win at the Event Center.
Mark Guggenberger made his first ever home start on Friday night, suffering the loss. Alex Lavoie still leads all rookies in scoring in the Central Hockey League with 29 points, five ahead of Tulsa's Adam Pleskach, who has 24 points.
The Americans are just a game over .500 this season at home with a record of 4-3-1. Allen is an even .500 for the month of November at 7-7-0.
