Allen Texas - The Allen Americans host the Missouri Mavericks this afternoon at 4:05 pm at Allen Event Center, in the final regular season matchup in Allen this season.
The Americans are 3-5-0 against Missouri this season with a 3-2 record at Allen Event Center. The Americans have won two of the last three in the season series.
Chad Costello had another multi-point game for Allen last night with a goal and two helpers. He now has 94 points on the season with 24 goals and 70 assists.
"I liked our first period, but I thought we quit moving our feet in the second period, " said Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "Our young goalie was really solid and has earned another start today."
Jake Hildebrand stopped 34 of 35 Missouri shots last night in the 4-1 Americans victory. The only Mavericks goal came in the power play in the final period.
