Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans exploded for four goals in the second period, cruising to a 6-2 win on Thursday night at Allen Event Center in front of a crowd of 3,177.
The Rush opened the scoring early in the opening frame, just 1:48 in, when former Americans forward, Kale Kerbashian, fired home his 10th of the season from the right wing boards to give Rapid City a 1-0 lead. Kerbashian's goal would be the only one of the opening period, as both teams had eight shots on net and both were 0 for 1 on the power play.

Allen continued their offensive onslaught in the third period as Tyler Ludwig (10) and Nolan Descoteaux (2) each fired home goals. Rapid City would add one late, but the Americans would cruise to the victory. Allen would outshoot Rapid City for the game 41-28, as the Americans win their 30th game of the season.
