Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans and Rapid City Rush play the second game of a back to back this afternoon at 4:05 PM on Hockey Day Across America.

Allen had their five-game winning streak snapped last night by the Rush, 4-3 in overtime. Americans forward Chad Costello reached the 100-point mark for the third season in a row, assisting on David Makowski's power play goal in the first period and Zach Hall's goal in the second period. Hall has scored in three straight games for Allen.

"He's an amazing talent," said teammate David Makowski, on Costello reaching the 100-point mark for the third season in a row. "He makes everyone on the ice a better player and his on-ice vision is amazing. He's having another MVP season."

Both Costello and Makowski extended their point streak to 12 games last night, which ties a team-high for the season set by Makowski.

Riley Gill made his fifth straight start for the Americans, suffering the loss and snapping his ten-game winning streak. The last time Gill lost a game prior to last night, was earlier this season on December 16th. Gill remains the top goalie in league in both save percentage (.935) and goals-against average (2.17).
