Alaska Aces News Release

3:05pm AST Sullivan Arena, Anchorage

Radio: 103.7 FM and 750 AM KFQD

Watch: ECHL-TV with Kurt Haider

Colorado's Eagles are red hot, and unfortunately for your Alaska Aces, they're getting burned. The Eagles edged the Aces 4-3 Friday, then took a 6-2 victory last night. Jackson Houck was the hero for Colorado, netting a hat trick. Shawn St. Amant popped in two goals, and Casey Pierro-Zabotel contributed three assists. Former Aces goaltender Lukas Hafner victimized his old teammates, stopping 41 of 43 shots for his second straight win for the Eagles, who signed Hafner after the Aces let him go a couple weeks ago. Colorado has won its last 11 games, while the Aces are 0-3-01 in their last four.

This weekend was the Men's Wellness Weekend presented by Anchorage and Valley Radiation Therapy Centers. The Aces thank them, and all the health-related vendors that took part in this important community outreach.
