The Lincoln Saltdogs clawed back from a 3-0 deficit to earn a come-from-behind victory at home. Down three entering the sixth inning, the Saltdogs got on the board with a pair of runs to close the gap to one. An inning later, 3B Brandon Jones singled to center field, scoring a pair and putting Lincoln in the lead for good. Adam Daniels was credited with his sixth win for the Saltdogs. He fanned three of the four hitters he faced in 1 1/3 innings. Closer Chris Thompson struck out two and needed just 10 pitches in a 1-2-3 ninth to earn his 26th save.

St. Paul 6, Sioux Falls 4

St. Paul starting pitcher Todd Mathison held Sioux Falls to three runs in six innings, and the Saints put four on the board in the seventh frame on the way to a 6-4 win. Trailing 3-2 in the top of the seventh, CF Anthony Norman singled home the tying run and 1B Jason Cooper later followed with his only hit of the game, a three-run homer that put the Saints ahead, 6-3, and put Mathison in line for his second win. Sioux Falls managed another run, before reliever Mike Bille took over in the ninth and retired the side for his fourth save.

Shreveport-Bossier 9, Fort Worth 1

Shreveport-Bossier starting pitcher Thad Markray scattered five hits while striking out five in six shutout innings to lead the Captains past Fort Worth and earn his fourth win in the process. Shreveport-Bossier LF Bryan Sabatella was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBI, while C Tommy Bryant led all hitters, going 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. Captains DH Jose Torres added a solo home run and a stolen base. He was 1-for-4.

Grand Prairie 12, Pensacola 10

Grand Prairie got off on the right foot with a six-run first inning, but had to thwart a late Pensacola rally to hang on for a 12-10 win. Down 12-5 entering the bottom of the ninth, the Pelicans rallied for five runs, but AirHogs reliever Vinnie DeChristofaro eventually was called on to record the final two outs, and did so to prevent the rally from progressing further. Grand Prairie 1B Cesar Nicolas led the way offensively, going 1-for-5 with a home run, a pair of run scored and three RBI. With the three RBI Nicolas tied the league record for most RBI in a season.

El Paso 4, Sioux City 3 (12 innings)

@ Sioux City, IA. Time: 3:50 Attendance: 1,553

HR: EP-Juan Camacho (9), Eddy Rodriguez (5)

Trailing 3-1 entering the eighth inning, El Paso scored a run to pull within one. An inning later they tied the game to force extra innings, before winning it in the 12th thanks to a solo home run off the bat of LF Juan Camacho. The homer was Camacho's ninth of the year and he finished the game 2-for-5. Diablos C Eddy Rodriguez also hit a solo homer and finished up 2-for-5 as well. El Paso reliever Joe Klein was credited with his fourth win and Mike Cervera held the lead in the 12th to earn his sixth save.
