Amarillo 4, El Paso 1

Sox RF Tim Alberts hit his 11th home run of the season, and Amarillo defeated the Diablos, 4-1. Alberts' blast - which broke a scoreless tie in the fourth - was his only hit of the game. Amarillo eventually led, 4-0, before allowing a ninth-inning run on a Reid Fronk solo homer. 3B Fronk went 2-for-4 as the only Diablo with multiple hits. The Sox also had just one player as LF Aadam Buschini went 2-for-4. Starting Sox pitcher Justin Garcia allowed only three hits in seven innings of shutout baseball with two walks and two strikeouts. The win was Garcia's fifth of the season.

Quebec 4, Gary SouthShore 2

The Capitales' Steve Brown had just one hit against Gary SouthShore on Tuesday. The right fielder, however, did most of his damage on sacrifice flies. Brown's second sac fly - his third RBI of the game - drove in the game's final run in Quebec's 4-2 victory. Starting Capitales pitcher Bryan Rembisz threw seven innings, striking out three while allowing two runs on four hits, to earn his seventh win of the year. Three Capitales players had multiple hits, including 1B Josue Peley. Peley went 2-for-4 and drove in a run, the only run not batted in by Brown. RailCats Mike Coles hit a solo homer to open Gary SouthShore's two-run fourth inning. But then Rembisz and the Capitales bullpen took over, allowing Brown and the rest of the Quebec offense mount their comeback.

Fargo-Moorhead 3, Sioux Falls 1

Starting RedHawks pitcher Paul Burnside allowed just one run on three hits in eight innings of work to earn his sixth win of the year. Burnside struck out three against three walks on the evening. With Burnside impressing on the mound, the Fargo-Moorhead offense put three early runs on the board. Two of those runs were pushed in by Marcos Rodriguez. The 1B went 2-for-4 on the night and raised his season average to .298. Sioux Falls' lone run a sixth-inning Cristian Guerrero single. RF Guerrero went 2-for-4 in the game.

St. Paul 13, Grand Prairie 7

Saints CF Jose Hernandez hit his second home run of the season, a first-inning blast that put his club on top, 1-0. Hernandez went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, leading his club to a 13-7 victory over Grand Prairie. He was one of six Saints players with multiple hits while only two AirHogs had two or more base knocks. One of those two, however, was Zane Chavez. Chavez went 2-for-4 and hit his fourth home run of the year, joining teammate Brian Myrow and St. Paul's Hernandez in the home run club. Despite the pair of homers, Myrow and Chavez couldn't lead the AirHogs to victory. The Saints stretched an 8-6 lead into a 13-6 advantage in the bottom of the eighth inning, plating five runs on five hits in the frame and all but securing the victory.

Kansas City 5, Sioux City 4

The T-Bones scored three late runs, rallying from a 4-2 deficit and earning a 5-4 victory over Sioux City. The first two scores came in the seventh inning on a bases-loaded Brandon Jones single, which was promptly followed by a Lee Cruz sacrifice fly that tied the score. Cruz went 2-for-3 on the night and was the only T-Bones batter with multiple hits. The Explorers scored two runs in the first inning and led until the big Kansas City seventh. Sioux City 1B Kris Sanchez went 1-for-4 and hit his 10th home run of the season, a solo shot in the seventh. The T-Bones, however flipped the momentum in the bottom of the inning on their way to the one-run win.

After exchanging one-run sixth innings with the Saltdogs, Winnipeg scored four in the seventh on their way to the five-run win. Goldeyes 3B Yurendell de Caster doubled in the first two scores in the seventh on his only hit of the night, later scoring on a passed ball. DeCaster finished the game with three RBI, bringing his season total to 40. Saltdogs RF Asif Shah had a hand in both of his club's runs, scoring on a wild pitch in the sixth and driving in 2B Jimmy Rohan in the ninth. Shah went 2-for-4, the only Lincoln player with more than one hit.
