Fargo-Moorhead 5, Lincoln 3 - Box Score
Fargo-Moorhead picked-up their third consecutive victory as they downed Lincoln by the score of 5-3. The RedHawks fell behind 2-0 after an inning and a half of play before scoring a run in five of the next six to take command of the game.
There were 11 hits collected by Fargo-Moorhead with four batters picking-up multi-hit games. RedHawks C Brian Olson went 3-for-4 with two RBIs while RF Tim Colwell had a hit in three official at-bats along with a pair of runs scored. Left fielder Correlle Prime and 1B T.J. Bennett also helped the Fargo-Moorhead offense by each picking-up two hits and scoring a run.
RedHawks starting pitcher Ryan Williams allowed three earned runs over six innings of work and notched the victory. The East Carolina University product gave up nine hits and struck out two batters in a 97-pitch performance. With the win, Williams is a perfect 4-0 on the season.
For Lincoln in the losing effort, C Daniel Herrera had a 1-for-3 day with two RBIs.
