Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans continue their four game set with the Laredo Bucks this Friday and Saturday March 2nd and 3rd at the Laredo Energy Arena. The Bucks have won the first two games, including a 5-0 shutout on Saturday night.

Tuesday, February 21st - Americans 1 Texas 2 Final
Allen, Texas - The Brahmas beat the Americans for a second Tuesday in a row, as CHL Goalie of the Week Mark Guggenburger, allowed just one goal in regulation and one in the shootout as the Americans fell to the Texas Brahmas by a 2-1 score.
Friday, February 24th - Americans 1 Laredo 4 Final
Allen, Texas - Bucks forward Ryan Sparling had his first professional hat trick as the Laredo Bucks defeated the Allen Americans by a score of 4-1 on Friday night. The loss kept Allen three points behind first place Wichita, who fell to Evansville on Friday night.
Saturday, February 25th - Americans 0 Laredo 5 Final
Laredo, Texas - Erik Boisvert scored two goals, as the Bucks broke open a scoreless game in the second period cruising to a 5-0 win over the Americans on Saturday night. Bucks Goalie Ryan Rondeau allowed just one goal in back-to-back games against the Americans.
AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW
- Bruce Graham, despite being on the IR, remains tied for seventh in the CHL in scoring with 58 points. (25 goals, 33 assists)
- Colton Yellow Horn needs eight more points to reach 200 for his professional career.
- Nick Layton currently on AHL call up with Texas is 7th in the CHL in Rookie points with 36. (13 goals, 23 assists)
- Rejean Beauchemin has the 2nd best GAA in the CHL at 2.18, and third best SV% at .924
- Jason Deitsch is tied for sixth in the CHL in assists with 37.
- Joshua Hepditch is second in the CHL in rookie plus/minus with a plus 14.
