Rio Grande Valley's Aaron Lee Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (February 27, 2012) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Rio Grande Valley's Aaron Lee has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending February 26, 2012.

The Calgary, Alberta native is coming off a huge week helping his squad keep pace in the race for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Berry Conference.
Lee finished the week with four goals, five assists and a +6 plus/minus rating. His numbers came in two big games led by Wednesday's six point effort in Rio Grande Valley's 8-2 win in Laredo. Lee finished with two goals and four helpers and went +6 to top it off.
The 6-0, 200-pound forward followed that performance up with a two goal, one assist effort in a 6-4 win over Bloomington on Friday night.
On the season, the All-Star is tops on the Bees with 25 goals and is third with 41 points and in his fourth season with Rio Grande Valley, Lee is the franchises' all-time leader in games played with 243 and second in goals (84), assists (85) and points (169).
