Allen Texas- The Allen Americans (13-4-4) begin a three-game home stand this week, that includes another of the "Battle of Hwy 121" series versus the Brahmas on Friday night at the Allen Event Center.

Hidalgo, TX - The Allen Americans scored three third period goals, rallying back from a 3-1 deficit, to beat the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday night. The win was the 100th regular season victory in Allen Americans history.
Thursday, December 8th Americans 5 Wichita 3
Allen, TX - The Americans score five goals over the final two periods to defeat the Wichita Thunder, for the first time this season, by a score of 5-3. Matt Robinson had two goals in defeat for Wichita.
Friday, December 9th Tulsa 4 Americans 3 SO
Tulsa, OK - Oilers forward David Solway had the only goal in the shootout, as the Tulsa Oilers defeated the Allen Americans by a score of 4-3 on Friday night. Rejean Beauchemin made his first start in net for Allen in 16 games, returning from injury. Jarret Lukin scored for the second consecutive game, while Jason Deitsch extended his point streak to five games.
Saturday, December 10th Americans 5 Missouri 3
Independence, MO - Colton Yellow Horn collected his 4th professional hat trick, leading the Americans third period comeback in the 5-3 win. Americans rookie forward Lachlan MacIntosh scored his first professional goal, and first since being traded to Allen from Missouri. Steve Kaunisto had two helpers against his former team, while Brian Mahoney-Wilson took the loss in net.

The Allen Americans recorded the 100th regular season win in franchise history on 12/6/11 at Rio Grande Valley.
Trevor Hendrikx recorded his 100th career point on 12/8/11 vs. Wichita
Colton Yellow Horn recorded the 4th hat trick of his professional career on 12/10/11 at Missouri.
Lachlan MacIntosh scored his first professional goal on 12/10/11 at Missouri. MacIntosh was acquired from the Missouri Mavericks in November of 2011.

The Allen Americans are affiliated with the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL, and the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL.
The Americans joined the Central Hockey League in the 2009-2010 season with a trip to the CHL finals that year, losing to Rapid City in 6 games.
The Americans claimed their first Governors Cup trophy in 2010-2011, with a record of 47-16-3.
