Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - After closing out a five-game road trip over the weekend, the Arizona Sundogs return home to kick off a four-game home stand this weekend week starting on Tuesday against Quad City.

Last week's record: 0-2-0

Season overall: 8-11-3, 19 pts. - 6th in Berry Conference

-- LAST WEEK'S GAMES - Friday at Rapid City, 4-2 Loss

Craig Macdonald scored a pair of goals for the Sundogs in his first action since November 18th and had another disallowed due to a high stick as Arizona cut the Rapid City lead to 3-2 with a minute left in regulation. The Rush added an empty-net goal in the final seconds to seal the win.

Saturday at Rapid City, 7-0 Loss

The Sundogs were shutout for the second time this season after being handcuffed for much of the first and second periods by a lopsided power play count that finished 16-6 in favor of Rapid City. Three of Rapid City's goals came on the power play and a four-goal second period blew open a 2-0 hockey game.
