February 9, 2007 - NBA G League (G League)
Tulsa 66ers News Release

NBA Development League All-Star selection Will Conroy will be back in a Tulsa 66ers uniform for tonight's game against the Idaho Stampede after completing a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. The 66ers also waived forward Scott Merritt due to injury.

A 6-2, 195-pound point guard from the University of Washington, Conroy had played in and started 26 games for Tulsa before earning a GATORADE Call-Up to the Grizzlies on Jan. 30, averaging 15.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and a league-high 10.3 assists. In three games with Memphis he played 14 minutes and collected two rebounds and an assist.

The Seattle native played four years at Washington (2001-2005), finishing as the school's all-time leader in assists (515). He also ranks sixth all-time in three-point field goals made (106) and 21st all-time in scoring (1,113).

Merritt played in 22 games (17 starts) for the 66ers and the Austin Toros this season, averaging 9.2 points and 6.5 rebounds in 25.7 minutes. He only played in one game for the 66ers, not scoring and grabbing one rebound in 14 minutes after being traded from Austin for guard Cheyne Gadson on Jan. 22.
