
Alexandria invites youth for a preview

Alexandria, VA. Daryl Mackey, Co-owner of ABA Alexandria-United professional basketball team writes: "I would like to send an open invitation to the youth in the communities in and around the region of the city of Alexandria to come out and see a preview of Alexandria's first professional ABA team and several former stars such as:
Tyree Harris of Bethune-Cookman University
Damond Jackson of Georgetown University
Justin Moore and Kevin Smith, St. Augustine College
Eric Herric of GMU
James Mackey of Virginia State University
John Mcleoud, rising star out of Woodbridge H.S.
On July 15th @ GW Middle School located on Mount Vernon Ave at 2pm in a game against Pastor Matt Bradby, team owner and Ernie Graham Jr and the ABA Baltimore Pearls.
This game will also provide an opportunity for individuals who think they can dunk to come out at 1pm to earn an opportunity to be on our dunk team that will challenge other dunk teams that will be forming to compete in our first dunk team championship that will be held in August at the same location. The top 3 dunkers will earn a spot on our dunk team.
We will also have a free financial planning seminar for the community sponsored by 1st Nations Mortgage Corp that will be announced at this event on July 15. Tyree harris, a prospect for our Alexandria team, will be the featured presenter at this event.
We will also be taking resumes for individuals that are interested in becoming an intern or join our organization as a:

34 Churches to participate in our halftime Hot Shot Shootout.
