
Alexandria to hold dance team auditions

Alexandria, VA. The new ABA Alexandria professional basketball team is looking for beautiful, talented, energetic and committed women to be a part of its dance team. Candidates are expected to have had previous dance training in jazz and hip hop, reliable transportation to all events and a positive attitude. Ladies must be 18 or older to participate.
Auditions will be held Saturday, September 16th from 10am-2pm at the George Washington Middle School in Alexandria, VA. There is an audition fee of $25, CASH ONLY. Please bring a non-returnable photo and a dance resume. Candidates should wear dance shoes (no sneakers), black jazz pants and a half-top, midriff showing. Hair and Makeup should be glamorous. Auditions will consist of a brief clinic where candidates will learn two routines. Candidates will perform routines in small groups for a panel of qualified judges. All decisions are final. George Washington Middle School is at 1005 Mount Vernon Ave in Alexandria.
