
Audition set for talent competition

Miami, FL. Prestige Promotions announced its 2nd open audition for nationwide talent search, Starz in Motion "SHOOTING STARZ" will be held Thursday, July 13th at Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Cordova, TN from 3-8pm. Our radio partner, Q107.5 FM (WHBQ) will conduct a live remote from the audition.
Aspiring singers, both individuals and groups, will audition to be selected as a contestant in the local Memphis Shooting Starz Talent Competition, where they will compete to be a National Finalist for the grand prize. The best 6 contestants will be chosen from the auditions and invited to compete at the NASCAR Fan Jam at Memphis Motor Sports Park on Friday, July 14th.
All Contestants will be given two complimentary tickets to the FanJam, where they can watch the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Practice 200, as well as the talent competition show at 845pm. Locals will have the opportunity to come out and cheer for their favorite contestant, who will be determined by audience vote. The winner will perform pre-race the following day after the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly 200. Fans staying for the race are encouraged to stay for the post race concert with the "American Idol Stars."
The first audition for Shooting Starz made its debut during the ABA Great 8 Championship Playoffswhere the 6 contestants selected from the auditions competed at halftime during the Championship game. According to Angela Rizzi, Executive Director of Starz in Motion, "This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring artists to showcase their talents in a unique setting, while offering diverse entertainment to NASCAR fans."
Auditions for the remainder of the competition will be posted following the Memphis competition. These competitions will take place in various cities, tied in with ABA basketball games, NASCAR Racing and other sporting events.
