Maywood Buzz News Release

Long Beach, CA. The combined summer team of the Carson Buzz and Fresno Heatwave came up short in their bid to win back to back games in the LA NBA Summer Pro League. "We played with the same intensity as Saturday morning on the defensive side, but tonight our shots wouldn't fall," stated Head Coach/GM Burrel Lee III. "This is the summer and we are working with some new guys. They play well as a team and we just didn't have the offense. We will regroup as we prepare for Wednesday night's game with Hoosier Daddy at 730pm."

The final score was 98-83. The team was led by rookies Terrell Hendricks and Andrew Morris (11 pts each), veterans Darren Little and James Williams (10 pts each) and rookies Lanere Anderson, Joe Cantu and Chad Thornton-King (8 pts each).
