
Aldridge Placed on Disabled List

SALT LAKE CITY (July 30, 2010) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has placed outfielder Cory Aldridge on the Disabled List with a right rib cage strain.
Aldridge, 31, has appeared in 72 games for the Bees in 2010, hitting a team-high .314 with 20 doubles, 11 home runs and 56 RBI. In five games for the Angels this season, he tallied a triple and one RBI. The San Angelo, Texas native was originally selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fourth round of the 1997 draft and joined the Angels via free agency prior to the 2010 season.
