Akron Aeros Postponed For Third Straight Day

AKRON -- Due to icy conditions on the field and temperatures well below normal, the Akron Aeros have been forced to cancel the scheduled double-header against Binghamton on Saturday afternoon. It is the third straight day that Akron has attempted to open the season at home but have been postponed due to snow and cold temperatures. The four-game series has yet to be rescheduled, though it has been determined that the make-up games will take place in Binghamton, N.Y.

All Opening Day promotions, including the t-shirt giveaway sponsored by Bullseye Activewear, will be carried over to Monday, April 9 as the Aeros welcome the Altoona Curve to Canal Park. The game is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. Fans holding tickets from the Thursday, April 5, Friday, April 6 and the Saturday, April 7 double-header games may exchange the ticket for a ticket to any other 2007 Akron Aeros regular-season home game, based on availability. Exchanges may be done at the Aeros box office or Infield Outfitters, the Aeros team shop at Canal Park.
