Akron Aeros / Bowie Baysox Game Postponed

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros / Bowie Baysox game scheduled for Wednesday, April 27 at 7:05 p.m. has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up on Thursday, April 28 as part of a doubleheader beginning at 4:05pm. Each game of the doubleheader will be seven innings.

Fans holding a ticket for tonight's game, may exchange them for the makeup game tomorrow or any remaining home game during the 2011 season. Fans must redeem their tickets in person at the Canal Park Box Office. Tickets subject to availability.

Tomorrow, the Aeros conclude the homestand with the final two games in this series against the Baysox. Left-hander T.J. McFarland (0-0, 6.23 ERA) will pitch game one for the Aeros against left-hander Rick Zagone (1-0, 6.43 ERA) for the Baysox. Left-hander Matt Packer (0-2, 5.27 ERA) will start game two of the doubleheader. Right-hander Steve Johnson will be added to the Baysox roster and make the start in game two. The games can be heard on FOX SportsRadio 1350-AM, or online at sportsradio1350.com, beginning at 3:50pm.

Thursday is also a "Buck Up" Thirsty Thursday, presented by the Ohio Lottery, featuring $1 beers and $1 soft drinks. Canal Park will also be celebrating Irish Heritage Night and saluting the University of Akron's Men's Soccer National Championship Team.
