LONG ISLAND - Long Island Nets forward AJ Lawson has signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors. The call-up marks the 14th in Long Island history, the second for the team this season and the third for Lawson.
Lawson appeared in 11 Tip-Off Tournament games (all starts) for Long Island this season, registering averages of 24.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 35.1 minutes per game. The Toronto native was originally acquired by the LI Nets as a returning rights player via trade with the College Park Skyhawks on Oct. 22, 2024.
