Grand Prairie, TX. The Grand Prairie AirHogs return to QuikTrip Park this Saturday for a three-game series against the cross-town rival, Fort Worth Cats, and two nights of post-game pyrotechnics!
July 11 - Grand Prairie AirHogs vs. Fort Worth Cats - Game Time 7:05 p.m. - Gates Open 6 p.m. Cross-town rival, Fort Worth Cats come to town! If it's LOUD and it's BRIGHT-It's an AirHogs FIREWORKS NIGHT! Come early -stay LATE-and bring the whole family out for post-game FIREWORKS!
July 12 - Grand Prairie AirHogs vs. Fort Worth Cats - Game Time 6:05 p.m. - Gates Open 5 p.m. It's an AirHogs Family Sunday! Enjoy $1 HOTDOGS and $1 SODAS all day long! Plus: Come early and be greeted at the gates by AirHogs players and mascot Ace Bacon! Play pre-game Catch-on-the-Field and post-game Kids-Run-The-Bases! PLUS: Sponsored by Parkland Community Health Plan, Inc., it's Purple in the Park Night presented by Parkland Community Parkland Health. AirHogs will wear PURPLE JERSEYS which will be auctioned off after the game to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.
July 13 - Grand Prairie AirHogs vs. Fort Worth Cats - Game Time 7:05 p.m. - Gates Open 6 p.m. The AirHogs are hosting the USSSA World Series Opening Ceremonies at QuikTrip Park. Come early for the pre-game ceremony and stay late for more post-game FIREWORKS!
AirHogs NEWS: The AirHogs recently completed the first half of the season with a third place finish in the South Division, but most notably had two AirHogs players acquired by Major League Baseball clubs. On Tuesday, July 21st, Grand Prairie will host the 2009 American Association All-Star Game at QuikTrip Park featuring a pre-game Home Run Derby and an array of All-Star festivities.
