In Tuesday's action, Jared Aulin scored twice in regulation and added the winning shootout goal as Syracuse edged Texas, 4-3... Steven Zalewski notched a pair of goals to help Worcester past Manchester, 5-2... Seven different Milwaukee skaters scored in a 7-1 win over Rockford... Derek Armstrong posted a goal and two assists as Peoria dropped Lake Erie, 5-3... Andy Wozniewski's overtime power-play goal lifted Providence over Springfield, 3-2... On Monday, Dustin Jeffrey notched two goals and a helper to lead Wilkes-Barre/Scranton past Adirondack, 4-3... J.P. Testwuide scored his first regular-season pro goal in overtime as Houston edged Syracuse, 5-4... David Desharnais led Hamilton to a 5-2 win over Toronto with two goals and an assist.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Northway rivals Albany and Adirondack hit the ice for a home-and-home set, Wednesday evening at the Times Union Center and Thursday afternoon in Glens Falls... The River Rats have taken all four meetings from the Phantoms thus far but enter losers of back-to-back games for the first time since Nov. 20-21... Rookie Zach Boychuk has a point in four of his last six games (3-2-5) for Albany, and Nicolas Blanchard shows an assist in three straight contests... The Rats are an impressive 13-5-0-1 on home ice and 13-1-0-1 overall when they score the game's first goal... Stefan Legein has a point in eight of his last nine outings (8-3-11) for the Phantoms, who wrap up a four-game road swing on Wednesday... Patrick Maroon (2-7-9) and Jared Ross (2-5-7) both have found the scoresheet in six of their last seven contests.
Hartford opens a three-game homestand on Wednesday by welcoming division-rival Springfield to the XL Center for the first time since its home opener on Oct. 10... The Wolf Pack took a 7-3 win in that contest and are 16-2-0-2 in their last 20 home tilts against the Falcons... Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau shows five points (1-4-5) in four games since returning to Hartford from an NHL stint with the N.Y. Rangers... Corey Locke continues to lead the AHL with 41 points (15-26-41) in 34 games for the Wolf Pack... Springfield is without a win in its last 16 games (0-11-4-1) but has picked up points with overtime losses in three of its last five... Charles Linglet leads the Falcons with 34 points (8-26-34) in 36 outings... Fifth-year pro Rob Hisey made his AHL debut in Tuesday's OT loss to Providence and had a goal and an assist... Colton Fretter shows a team-high 14 goals (14-13-27) for Springfield.
Texas heads north of the border for the first time this season on Thursday when it opens a two-game set at Manitoba... The Stars are just 2-5-0-1 in their last eight games and their lead atop the West Division has been cut to four points over Peoria and Milwaukee... Defenseman Brad Lukowich is riding a four-game scoring streak (2-3-5) for the Stars, and former AHL defenseman of the year Andrew Hutchinson shows a point in three of his last four contests (2-2-4)... Greg Rallo (12-9-21), who reached the 2009 Calder Cup Finals with the Moose, is tied with Aaron Gagnon (6-15-21) and Perttu Lindgren (6-15-21) for Texas's team scoring lead... Stars goaltender Matt Climie pitched a 24-save shutout in a 4-0 win over Manitoba back in Cedar Park on Nov. 6... The Moose enter with a mark of 4-1-0-0 in their last five home games... Cory Schneider is 4-1-0 (1.19,.962) with one shutout in his last five outings overall... Defenseman Brian Salcido has a goal in two straight games for the Moose after totaling three goals in his first 28 contests.
