In Tuesday's action, Artem Anisimov netted a pair of goals to send Hartford on its way to a 6-3 win at Manitoba... Tom Sestito tallied the game-winning goal as Syracuse dropped Lake Erie, 3-1... Yanick Lehoux posted a goal and an assist to help Hamilton double up Philadelphia, 4-2.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Tied with Iowa for second place in the West Division with 42 points apiece, Peoria hosts the Chops at Carver Arena on Wednesday in the teams' fifth meeting of the campaign... The Rivermen are just 1-4-0-1 in their last six games, while the Chops are wrapping up a six-game road swing on which they are 2-2-1-0 thus far... Trent Whitfield has four goals in his last three games (4-0-4) for Peoria and shows four points (2-2-4) in four match-ups with Iowa this season... Steve Regier paces the Rivermen overall with 29 points (11-17-28) and a plus-8 rating in 31 tilts... Peoria has scored 10 shorthanded goals on the campaign, tied with Hamilton for most in the AHL... Chops defenseman Brian Salcido has three multiple-point efforts in his last six games (3-6-9)... Rookie Matt Beleskey shows 14 points (5-9-14) through his first 17 professional games... Iowa is the only AHL team yet to lose in regulation after scoring the game's first goal (14-0-1-1).
Lowell hosts Portland at Tsongas Arena on Wednesday as the teams kick off a home-and-home set... This marks the division rivals' third clash of the season, and each team has been victorious in the other's home rink... The Devils are 4-1-0-0 in their last five contests following a seven-game winless skid and have climbed back to .500 overall at 15-15-1-3... Jon DiSalvatore has netted seven goals and 10 points in his last five games and leads Lowell with 13 goals and 32 points on the campaign... Rookie Michael Swift is riding a four-game scoring streak for the Devils (1-5-6)... Lowell rookie goaltender Jeff Frazee leads the league in save percentage (.932) while ranking tied for sixth in goals-against average (2.31) through 19 appearances (10-6-2)... Portland leading scorer Mark Mancari (14-22-36) has registered a point in six of his last seven contests (3-5-8), and Marc-Andre Gragnani has found the scoresheet in five of six (2-6-8)... Trent Campbell has six points (3-3-6) in five games since joining the Pirates on Dec. 28... Tim Kennedy (5-23-28) and Nathan Gerbe (15-10-25) continue to rank among the AHL's top rookie scorers.
Toronto, 5-1-0-0 in its last six contests, kicks off a season-high nine-game road swing at Milwaukee in the AHL's only action on Thursday... The Marlies will visit every West Division team except Peoria on this trip before taking on Grand Rapids and Syracuse to wrap it up... Rookie Max Taylor is coming off a four-point showing (3-1-4) against Philadelphia on Saturday, and Mark Bell has netted three goals (3-0-3) over the last two games... Tim Stapleton leads the Marlies with 33 points (6-27-33) and has registered six assists in his last five contests... Milwaukee has won 13 of its last 16 games (13-2-1-0) overall and is riding a 10-game winning streak at the Bradley Center... Cal O'Reilly has a three-game scoring run (1-3-4) for the Admirals... Mike Santorelli is tied for second in the AHL with 41 points (13-28-41) and has registered 13 multiple-point efforts on the season... Jed Ortmeyer has racked up 13 points (7-6-13) and a plus-9 rating in 16 games since first suiting up for Milwaukee on Dec. 4... The Marlies come in with the AHL's third-best road power play (22.5 percent), but the Admirals boast the league's second-ranked penalty-killing unit overall (86.8 percent).

After being recalled from the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals earlier in the day, Ryan Jones scored Nashville's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Colorado on Tuesday... In other action, 2007-08 AHL All-Rookie forward Bobby Ryan netted a goal as Anaheim took a 3-1 win over Los Angeles... Matt Ellis scored 15 seconds into the game and Buffalo went on to double up Ottawa, 4-2.
