March 15, 2004 - arenafootball2 (af2) News Release

CHICAGO - With two weeks until kickoff on its Fifth Anniversary season, af2 teams are reporting, on average, a 24 percent increase in ticket sales and a 54 percent increase in sponsorship revenue compared to this same point last year, the af2 league office announced today.

"We're encouraged by these numbers and fully expect them to keep increasing throughout the season and beyond," said af2 Executive Director Jay Marcus. "We see af2 as a pillar of strength and stability in the developmental football league landscape, and we look forward to continued growth and prosperity."
