The Houston Aeros (28-20-3-9, 68 pts.) continue a six-game homestand on Tuesday (7:05 p.m. CST) against the Abbotsford Heat (32-24-3-3, 70 pts.) at Toyota Center.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

---Houston just completed the longest road trip in franchise history (Feb. 7-March 7, 11 games, 4-7-0-0).

---The Aeros hold the No. 10 spot in the eight-team Western Conference playoff race, but the No. 4 spot is just three points out of reach.

--- Eight teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs: the three division winners will be seeded first through third in order of points, and the next five teams in order of points will be seeded fourth through eighth.

Jarod Palmer scored his fifth goal of the season and Jon DiSalvatore had his third goal in two games but the Houston Aeros fell 5-2 to the Grand Rapids Griffins Sunday in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,239 at Toyota Center.
