Admirals Sign Pair to ATOs

Milwaukee, WI-- The Milwaukee Admirals announced today the signing of defensemen Jeff Foss and forward Chris Cahill to an amateur tryout contracts (ATO).

Jeff Foss, a sixth round draft pick by the Nashville Predators (166th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, has played the last four seasons for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) recording 14 points (3g,11a) and accumulating 48 penalty minutes during the 2010-11 campaign. He finished his four year career with 38 points (8g, 30a) in 154 games. Prior to playing at RPI, the Moorhead, MN native spent one season with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL.

Cahill finished up his collegiate career at Yale University posting 75 points (31g, 44a) in 126 games. This season, he recorded 34 points (15g, 19a) and spent the most time in the penalty box with 64 penalty minutes in 35 games. The North Andover, MA native also played for the U.S. National Under-18 Team from 2003 to 2005 along with fellow Predators prospects Ryan Flynn and Blake Geoffrion.

The Admirals return to the ice on Friday, April 1 versus the Houston Aeros at 7:00 pm in a battle for first place.
