
B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed defenseman R.J. Anderson to a professional try-out contract. Additionally, the B-Sens have recalled forwards Jason Bailey, Corey Cowick and Mike Hoffman from the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) and have recalled defenseman Brennan Turner from the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL).
Anderson, 24, has appeared in seven American Hockey League games this season with Binghamton and Lake Erie, posting an assist and adding two penalty minutes. The Lino Lakes, Minn. native has recorded seven goals, 32 assists and added 40 penalty minutes in 60 games with the B-Sens' ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals.
Bailey, 23, has two goals and added 31 penalty minutes in 37 games played with the B-Sens this season. The native of Nepean, Ont. has two goals, one assist and six penalty minutes in eight games with Elmira.
Cowick, 22, has one goal, two assists and 20 penalty minutes in 24 games with the B-Sens this season. The native of Gloucester, Ont. has scored five goals, nine assists and added 76 penalty minutes in 31 games with Elmira.
Hoffman, 21, has seven goals, 16 assists and eight penalty minutes in 69 games for the B-Sens this season. The Kitchener, Ont. native has recorded three assists in four games with Elmira.
Turner, 24, has played four games for the B-Sens, amassing five penalty minutes. The Winnipeg, Man. native began the season with Elmira, before being reassigned to Gwinnett on Jan. 25. He has appeared in 56 total ECHL games this season, recording one goal, 13 assists and adding 128 penalty minutes.
The B-Sens will travel to Syracuse to take on the Crunch tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before the game for Countdown to Face Off with Grady Whittenburg, voice of the B-Sens.
