NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the y have released forward Rocco Ca rzo from his professional tryout contract (PTO).
Carzo, 24, appeared in seven games for the Admirals. The Media, Pennsylvania native tallied an assist, finished with a plus-minus rating of minus-3, and recorded two penalty minutes . Before coming to Norfolk, the 6-foot, 203-pound forward played 56 contes ts this year with the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. He scored 18 markers and grabbed 17 assists for 35 points.
The Admirals continue a six-game homestand on Friday night with the first of back-to-back games against the Albany Devils at 7:30 p.m.
