Alex Boak Recalled by Penguins

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today announced that defenseman Alex Boak has been recalled from loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).

Boak has appeared in 22 games for the Penguins this season, recording one goal, three assists and 49 penalty minutes. A 25-year old rookie from Norwood, NY, Boak has also collected one goal, one assist and 19 PIM this year over 14 contests with the Nailers.

Boak totaled 31 points (7G-24A) and 357 penalty minutes over 148 games with Clarkson University from 2010-14. He went on to make his pro debut last spring with Wheeling, where he played in eight games and recorded 24 penalty minutes.
