Admirals open training camp Thursday

The Milwaukee Admirals begin defense of the Calder Cup this Thursday, September 30 when they open training camp under the guidance of Head Coach Claude Noel with a 1 pm practice at Wilson Park. Camp will run until Sunday, October 10th. The Admirals will use three different facilities during the course of the camp: Wilson Park, the Bradley Center, and the Kern Center at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, the school's brand new athletic facility.

Milwaukee will play three exhibition games during the course of training camp: Tuesday, October 5 at 7 pm versus the Chicago Wolves at the Blue Line Family Ice Center in Fond du Lac, Friday, October 8 at 7 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins at Wilson Park, and also Sunday, October 10 at 2 pm versus the Wolves in Bensenville, IL.

This years camp will feature 36 players, including 13 who helped the Ads capture the AHL crown last season. In addition, Dan Hamhuis and Jordon Tootoo, both of whom played for the Nashville Predators last season, will be in attendance at training camp. Also scheduled to be in Milwaukee at the Admirals Camp will be Predator's General Manager David Poile and Head Coach Barry Trotz.
