National Anthem Casting Call Finalists To Appear on 93Q September 29

Syracuse, NY (September 27, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch, along with 93Q, announced today that the five National Anthem casting call finalists will sing on the Ted and Amy show on 93Q on Wednesday, September 29 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. for the opportunity to sign the National Anthem on Opening Night.

Fans will be able to listen and vote for their favorite choice on www.93Q.com (on the Ted and Amy page) until Monday, October 4. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 5 on the Ted and Amy Morning Show at 7:35 a.m. and will then debut at the Crunch's Express Mart Opening Night on October 15. The winner, along with the finalists will make up the Crunch's National Anthem singers list.

The five finalists are as follows:

Anna Santy

Jackie Rivera

Christopher Shoff

Cindy Smith

Shari Washington

The Crunch's regular season home schedule begins on Friday, October 15, when the St. John's Maple Leafs visit the War Memorial at Oncenter for the Express Mart Opening Night. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a hand-clapper noisemaker, compliment of Express Mart.
