Admirals and STIHL Inc. team up for Man of STIHL award

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals are pleased to announce in conjunction with STIHL Inc., the "Man of STIHL" award new for this season. The award will recognize both an Admirals player and an Admirals fan.

At the conclusion of the 2005-06 regular season, STIHL Inc., will present the "Man of STIHL" award to the Norfolk player who appears in all 80 regular season games for the Admirals. That player will receive a package of STIHL power tools. Should more than one player appear in all 80 games, the winner will be selected at random. If no player appears in all 80 games, the Admiral who plays in the most games will be declared the winner.

Additionally, one Admirals season ticket holder who attends all 40 Admirals home games this year will also receive the same package of STIHL power tools. If more than one season ticket holder attends all 40 games, a winner will be selected at random.

The Admirals begin their sixth AHL campaign with a pair of home matches against East Division rival Bridgeport (NY Islanders) this Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th at 7:15 p.m. each night. Norfolk's full schedule is available online at www.norfolkadmirals.com.

Individual tickets for all 40 regular season home games are now on sale and may be purchased at the Scope Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (757) 671-8100.
